June is a busy month for the auto industry, with most brands trying to produce as many vehicles as possible to meet market demand. The announcement of the removal of the excise tax incentive on July 1 also generated a spike in bookings, with customers flocking to take advantage of the savings in the offer.
PROTON received more than 150,000 pre-orders in the first six months of the year, and when added to orders from 2021, we will have to work hard to deliver the car as quickly as possible to the desired customers.”, Deputy Director Roslan Abdullah said.
Fortunately, the gradual resolution of our spare parts shortages not only boosts productivity but also has a positive impact on our after-sales network. As promised, all of their 3S/4S stores now offer a three-month supply of fast-moving parts (FMPs) and this is replicated in their parts inventory. Supply issues for other parts are also being worked out, so it hopes to provide better after-sales service to its customers soon, he added.
