Manilva’s Highlights

The town has a remarkable history that dates back to Roman times, with several amazingly well-preserved Roman sulfur baths still standing today. However, if you wish to benefit from these healing waters, you must be willing to dive into an underground tunnel and endure the stench of sulfur on your swimwear!

There is also an intriguing 17th-century church in the town, as well as two remaining parts of the aqueduct in good shape at the settlement’s foot.

During the summer months, the beaches in the Manilva region are among the nicest on the Costa del Sol and are quite uncrowded.

Manilva is located on the Costa del Golf, which means it is surrounded by a lot of golf courses, such as La Duquesa, Almenara in Sotogrande, and Alcaidesa Golf in San Roque, Doa Julia in Casares, and El Paraiso in Estepona, to mention a few. Manilva is at an ideal location for accessing the Costa del Sol’s various golf courses.
