Innova Hycross will be offered with 2.0L petrol and 2.0L TNGA petrol with 5th generation Toyota Hybrid System powertrain options.

The upcoming new Maruti minivan will essentially be the first Toyota to be revamped, based on the Innova Hycross. It is one of the most anticipated family cars in the country. The manufacturer could make some cosmetic changes (especially at the front) to differentiate it from the Toyota minivan. In addition to the platform, the model will share features, components and powertrains with the Innova Hycross.

This model is equipped with a 1.5L MPI petrol engine, with a capacity of 115 horsepower, which can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or an IVT automatic transmission (CVT). Its 6-seat version is equipped with a captain’s seat in the second row and a bench in the third row. The Stargazer comes with ADAS, Hyundai’s BlueLink-connected car technology, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and wireless charging.

The fourth-generation Kia Carnival, launching globally in mid-2020, could arrive in India next year. The new minivan is larger and more spacious than before. It measures 5155mm long, 1995mm wide and 1775mm tall with a wheelbase of 3090mm. Some of its key features include the familiar Tiger Nose grille, high and low beams, two-tone 19-inch alloys (Limousine variant), newly designed LED taillights, a screen infotainment system 12.3-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch instrument panel display, new “Rear Passenger View & Talk” feature, and more. In India, the new Carnival will likely feature the same 200hp 2.2-liter diesel engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
